Citroen eC3 Electric - Tata Tigor EV Enemy: Badass

Finally, Citroen has unveiled the first-ever official teaser of the eC3 Electric Hatchback for Indian buyers. The car will be in direct competition with other car manufacturers existing in the market like Mahindra, Maruti, Tata, Hyundai, and MG EVs.

The car will be locally manufactured so that it will fit into our budget as well. The hatchback will give direct competition to the Tigor EV and Punch CNG. Tata is also planning to release its micro-SUV Punch in an electric Avtar. Tata (the world’s second-largest car manufacturer) has committed to incorporating electric Avtar into their vehicles by 2025.

Citroen is present in the Indian automobile market with its most recent SUV. The French automaker also introduces the C5 Aircross SUV in India, but it does not receive the same positive response as it does elsewhere. The new Citroen will launch under their C-Cubed program. The platform’s name is CMP. Many affordable cars will launch in the future on the same platform. Also, they will manufacture so many cars here and sell them globally.

The company has allied with JIO-BP for its charging outlets across India in the upcoming program. The JIO-BP fast DC charger will help Citroen expand its EV market.
