Tata Altroz Racer vs Hundai N Line: Which Should You Choose? | 10 ways to Prefer it

The company first showcased Tata Altroz Racer at the Auto Expo 2023.  Tata is the second-largest car manufacturer in India, although it is going up or down. By its rival, Hyundai. Tata does not want to lose its position, so it updates many hot products to compete. The Hyundai i20 N Line 1.0L gets its biggest competition with the upcoming Tata Altroz Racer.

No doubt, the new engine is more powerful than the existing one. The upcoming Tata Altroz Racer will get a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine. It will go from 0 to 100 km/h in only 10 seconds. It will produce 120 bhp and 170 NM of torque.

The engine transmission is upgraded in the new one, and the gearbox is downgraded from 6-speed to 5-speed. The gearbox is borrowed from Nexon.  The new launch Maruti Suzuki Fronx is the same and comes with the same price bracket. We can’t ignore it also. Maruti design a good product we must say. The market will go through many updates in the coming year till 2025.

Tata, itself declares that the will introduce the same electric product as all existing vehicles. Now it’s time for EVs Like Maruti the new EV market launch EVX. The car is a strong product but Tata is delaying its Launch. Hope it will come in mid-2023. Let’s look for another specification of the vehicle

In Comparison to the Existing One and N Line

If we compare it to the standard naturally aspirated powertrain, it will have 35 bhp more power and 57 nm more torque.

Also, this engine is more powerful than the existing i-Turbo (1.2 L Revotron). It produced 108 bhp at 5500 rpm and 140 nm of torque at 1500 rpm. It goes from 0 to 100 kilometres in 12.52 seconds, which is also not bad. But compared to the new 1.2L Racer, it is still 2.52 seconds slower.

It has 1199 cc, 3 cylinders inline, and 4 valves/cylinders in a DOHC engine.
The ARAI claims a mileage of 18.1 km/h, which is very good for a turbocharged gasoline engine.

And if we compare it to its rival N line, the N line produces 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque. Yet, it is somehow still the same.

The dual-tone red and hot black for racing stand out on the vehicle. The roof and bonnet are painted black, and the vehicle is cherry red with black alloy, which complements the vehicle. The two white stripes from the bonnet to the roof extend. The new Tata Altoz Racer will also get a sunroof with a shark fin antenna on the rear, which we all missed earlier. There’s also a sports spoiler in the back.
