25 Top Selling Cars in India-February 2023

In the 25 top-selling cars in India, 10 out of 25 are from Maruti Suzuki. The great automobile giant has been dominant in India for many years. Maruti Suzuki’s New Gen Baleno was the best-selling car in India in February 2023, with sales of 18,592, which is a YoY growth of 48%. On 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are also Maruti Suzuki cars.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire is the only sedan in the top ten list with 16,889 unit sales, which is a decline of 4% if we compare the sales of last year, which were 17,438. As the market for sedans decreases, the SUV segment is rising.

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is the top-selling SUV in India, with sales of 15,787 units and a massive growth rate of 71%. Overall, Maruti Suzuki controls 51% of the top 25 car markets.

The New Generation Alto K10, which was discontinued in 2019, was also released this year. With this, the car has seen a massive growth of 57% and a sales figure of 18,114.

Tata Nexon, Punch, and Hyundai Creata are the only three cars that make their way into the top ten, along with Maruti Suzuki. The top-selling Tata Nexon has dropped to seventh place, while the Hyundai Creta is the best-selling Mid-Size SUV, with 10,421 sales.

From 11 to 25, there were four Hyundai and Mahindra vehicles, three Kia and Maruti Suzuki vehicles, and only one Tata Motors vehicle, the Tata Tiago, with a sales figure of 7,457.
